Rochelle’s Bakeshop

A warm, appetizing home for a peanut and tree nut-free home bakery — organized so visitors can see what’s on offer, trust it’s safe for their allergy, and place an order.

The challenge

A bakeshop’s website has one job above all: make you want what’s in the case, then tell you how to get it. The site needed genuine warmth and appetite appeal without sacrificing clarity — especially on the phones most customers arrive on.

My role

Website strategy, design direction, content structure, AI-assisted development, testing, refinement, and deployment.

The approach

For an allergy-safe bakery, trust is the whole product — so the peanut and tree nut-free promise sits high on the page in plain words rather than buried in an FAQ. Below it, the site answers the three things a customer actually arrives with: what can I order, is it safe for me, and how do I get it. Menu, gallery and ordering are each one tap away, and the whole thing is mobile-first, because that’s where the orders start.
